Dr. Cynthia Jackson-Small, executive director and founder of Family Dimensions, is a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) and author who offers educational consulting, family coaching and professional development seminars for parents, educators, and business professionals. As a Texas Master Registered trainer, Cynthia conducts workshops for early childhood teachers across the state of Texas and beyond. She has previously worked as Director of Early Childhood Programs with the ChildCareGroup in Dallas. She has also served in the Dallas Independent School District for more than 20 years in such areas as classroom teacher, campus administrator, teacher advisor and director for the districtwide parent involvement program. Cynthia is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (BA), Texas A & M University (M.Ed), and recently received a doctorate in Christian Education from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
Cynthia has served faithfully (27 years) as Executive Youth Director at her church to impact the lives of numerous families and children. She has been a featured speaker on the Channel 8 Family First project in Dallas and has received awards from the Texas Education Agency and Texas Association of School Boards for outstanding services to Texas school children. As a prolific writer, Cynthia has published books and educational articles to support her work in the area of family engagement, early childhood education, and professionalism. Dr. Small’s passion and purpose is to reach out to communities around the world to encourage, empower, and enrich the lives of families and children with life-long learning in mind!
